10 Reasons Why My Mavericks Are Winning The NBA Title In 08
- Coaching - Avery Johnson did'nt win the NBA Coach of the Year award for nothing. The guy can flat out coach and has learned from the BEST in the business. Gregg Popovich, Don Nelson just to name a few.
- The MVP - Ok so his weaknesses were shown by the guy who taught him everything. I.E. He's gonna go to town on any other coach than Don Nelson. 50 against Phx, Game 7 VS SA.
- Management - The brain trust of the Mavericks is at the top of its industry. Mark Cuban, Little Donnie Nelson, Avery Johnson, the list goes on.
- Deepest bench in the league - The Mavs by FAR are the deepest team in the league according to many of the top NBA analyists.
- Josh Howard - First time all-star last year. He's grown by leaps and bounds each year he has been in the league, and I dont know why that would change.
- Experience - The longest playoff streak in the league.
- Lockeroom - No egos. And it starts from the top. Dirk spends more time in the gym than anyone.
- Dedication from ownership - Mark Cuban is crazy. About the Mavs, his investments, he is pretty much nuts.... And he has BILLIONS of dollars to spend on his team.
- Devin Harris - Is being talked about as the key to how far the Mavs can go this year. You will know his name soon.
- THE FANS - We love our Mavs.
My Favorite Song
Have I told you lately that I love you
Have I told you there’s no one above you
Fill my heart with gladness
Take away my sadness
Ease my troubles, that’s what you do
Oh the morning sun in all it’s glory
Greets the day with hope and comfort too
And you fill my life with laughter
You can make it better
Ease my troubles that’s what you do
There’s a love that’s divine
And it’s yours and it’s mine
Like the sun at the end of the day
We should give thanks and pray to the one
Have I told you lately that I love you
Have I told you there’s no one above you
Fill my heart with gladness
Take away my sadness
Ease my troubles, that’s what you do
There’s a love that’s divine
And it’s yours and it’s mine
And it shines like the sun
At the end of the day we will give thanks
And pray to the one
Have I told you lately that I love you
Have I told you there’s no one above you
Fill my heart with gladness
Take away my sadness
Ease my troubles, that’s what you do
Take away my sadness
Fill my life with gladness
Ease my troubles that’s what you do
Fill my life with gladness
Take away my sadness
Ease my troubles that’s what you do.

Two Weeks Notice
Its something you do only a number of times throughout your lifetime. Many times you leave a place in which you feel almost at home. Saying goodbye to co-workers, managers, and in my case, guests that have been a large part of your life. Leaving your job can be a hard thing to do. Whether its for greener pastures, being laid off, or having your pride hurt, the feeling is different and the same if thats at all possible.
